Al Sabeel Masjid Noor Al Islam Welcomes You

Al Sabeel Masjid Noor Al Islam invites Muslims and Non Muslims, people of all different religious and cultural backgrounds to visit us. The meaning of the Arabic word Al Sabeel is the "Path to the light" of Islam.

We are inspired by the teachings of the Qur'an to create a faith-based community dedicated to peace, justice, and compassion. We provide religious and social services to a large and diverse Muslim community in the Bay Area. Located in San Francisco, we are able to work with other Muslim and Non Muslim communities dedicated to peace and justice in the Bay Area.

If you live in San Francisco Bay Area and you are interested to visit our Masjid, view one of the daily prayer services, attend one of our events, have a project or paper about Islam and Muslims, or just to converse with the many members of the Masjid and the Imam, please request a Masjid Visit. We will contact you as soon as possible.

We invite you to browse through our website and if you have a question, comment, or suggestion, please contact us, and we will be glad to reply back to you.

3- A third aspect needed to establish apositive relationship between Muslims and others is a generalized view of thenature of such a connection/coexistence. The coexistence sought here – be it inthe U.S.A.or the West at large – is one that encompasses all aspects of life. Thecoexistence needed is one that deals with the social, political, intellectual, economical, and educational fronts and aspects of life. We can clearly see thisas the Quran and Prophetic Sunnah have both laid a foundation for each type of connection and coexistence.
